Why do Pinoys hold Gerry in high regards? He's a tough dude and has average boxing skills. Other than his toughness nothing really stands out from him. At least from the times I've seen him fight.

I saw the Jhonny fight (the one Alibata claims Jhonny was "running" the whole time) and he was boxing Gerry's ears off. Even Ponce was outworking him, though that was a weird fight to score.
