That is pretty much how I see this fight playing out. I think Clottey will look decent early on, but I feel that Cotto can turn him into a mostly defensive fighter (imo, when you can force Clottey into being defensive he has a hard time getting off).

That said Clottey does have a decent shot because he could view this as his big break, so he might be able to force himself to a higher level. The human brain is a wonderous thing, it can push people way beyond their apparent limits.

I know most people will say Cotto is going to win,I think it is based more on bias, but if anyone watched Clottey fight,u can see the potential that he has!!Fighting Cotto will be the biggest fight of his career, his great defence will keep him from taking much punishment,I'm pretty sure he will ramp up his punch output and show all watchers how good he really is!!I think he will let Cotto to make the final bell, but I see Clottey by ud!!

It does work both ways, that is why I consider the brain to be much more importent then any physical attribute.

I see this fight looking like Cotto-aabduallaev. Clottey fights exactly like abdullaev, with the exception that Abduallaev liked to pressure a bit and Clottey prefers to saty in his pick a boo defense.

1 thing I notice in Clottey, is the he blocks punches to the hed very well, but he is open for body punches and left uppercuts.

Cotto wins this fight 116-112 or late TKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
