Why dont most american fighters fight for there country?

    Because, at this point and time, this country and boxing really don't affect one another. Two seperate situations. An American fighter winning a fight, doesn't make America look better. Makes the fighter look better.

      Youre not too bright if you believe this. Trinidad has been fooling fans for years, coming back every 2 or so years and collecting 10 million dollar checks in fights he cant win.

            He made his mark early on. if he wants to make a few who cares. You;re not to smart if you cant see that.

              Well the reason that fighters like Hatton have a huge following is because in America there are alot of great and elite fighters. I'm not bashing other countries but if you have only Hatton as an elite at that weight then of course he's gonna have the majority of his country behind him especially when he goes to the USA. It's also because most of the big money fights are in the USA. Us USA fans got spoiled. THere are so many good fighters in the USA that they split the fans and have different followings.
