Cotto is going to leave Top Rank.

    It's becoming pretty apparent.
For the first time, he doesn't say post-fight that he'll fight "whoever my promoter puts in front of me" and explicitly mentions three guys including Mosley who Arum doesn't want to deal with. He expresses his disapproval with Arum's support of Margarito as he should. And it doesn't seem like he's interested in fighting Cintron, who is probably going to Cotto's next opponent if he doesn't leave the company.
Obviously he couldn't quit the company before fighting Jennings, because the entire card was under the Top Rank banner. But I expect to hear a Cotto announcement made sometime within the next two weeks saying he's leaving and signing with Golden Boy.

I don't blame him, in fact I think it would do him some good... he would be better off with starting talks with Golden Boy than sticking with Top Rank with that greedy bastard Arum (sorry but he has shown to be extremely greedy just lately!).

Cotto can't leave until the end of the year. He does seem dissatisfied and for a while he was very loyal and did what they told him to. Now that there is tension it seems like he is doing what he wants and the split is almost inevitable.

Cotto mentioned in another interview that he would honour his contract until end of the year and explore other opportunies.Arum claims he will be able to renew the contract

Let Arum back and keep all the cheaters under Top Rank.....Hopefully Margarito makes him more money than Cotto. Cotto needs to get the hell out of there.
