    I wasn't impressed last night...

    1. That Ukranian with an extensive amateur background who got that KO in the fourth. Great KO that totally erased the memory of four dull rounds against an opponent in survival mode. But then I found out that he lost in the amateurs to a man who got beat by James De Gale. And he was blowing hard, wasn't he?

    2. The Duddy fight. I like Duddy, he's top of my P4P dish list, just edging out Haye. This was at 3:30am over in the UK and I fell asleep around round nine, waking up during round two of the Cotto fight. I take it Duddy won?

    3. The Cotto fight. Jennings did what I thought he'd do - fight on his bike like he was supposed to. I do have to at people on here complaining about this. Just do some ****ing RESEARCH and you'll find that's how he fights. He did okay - he was never gonna win - but I'd have liked to have seen him go out on his shield even more. If that was Danny Williams in there he'd have got up 48 times and bitten off his own penis just to show how hard he was. The fight told us nothing about Cotto.

    4. Moby vs. Rubio. Okay, anyone can have a bad night, but when you're most famous for being KO'd in less than a minute it's hard for anyone to use you as a measuring stick to look good against. It's like someone making John Ruiz quit on his stool after ten rounds... it's okay, but Tua did it better. Moby's lost a LOT of lustre for me since his last fight. I hate the silly term "exposed" but it really did apply to him vs. Bore Hard.

A double-header featuring two guys fighting "the opponent." It was... whatever.

It was exactly what I expected. A couple okay at best undercard fights and dominate performances from Pavlik and Cotto which is what they were supposed to do.

Yeah, I guess it's a case of "don't blame the water for being wet."

Having said that, Moby looked poorer than usual IMO against an opponent who wasn't really trying. I believe more than ever that Abraham would beat him.

I thought he looked like the same old Pavlik, no better no worse. I do think Abraham can beat him because Pavlik suits his style since he's often a stationary target without any head movement that he can unload on. Then again Abraham's defensive style also suits Pavlik since he also stands directly in front of his opponent and uses a shell defense. A power puncher like Miranda was able to slip punches through his guard and I think Pavlik can do the same. It's an interesting matchup and I'm not quite sure at this point who I would pick but I'm leaning toward Abraham.

Cheers man... just watched the last two rounds of the Duddy fight (I taped it because I sensed I was gonna fall alseep.. it wasn't boring, just late)

That last round was a cracker... Duddy learning defence is the worst thing that could have happened to the sport.
