And you base this on what? and what makes you thank thats the ONLY possible result.

      Few facts for you:

      1. Hatton has only been KO'd once @147.
      2. Pac has only fought 3 fighters who campained at 130+ more than 10 times.
      3. Pac's KO rate at 130+ is 50%
      4. Pac was unable to KO Oscar Larios who has 4 KO losses.
      5. Hatton has a higher KO rate (Hi Samurai) than Pac campaining at higher weights.

Just want to point out to the pac huggers, I'm not trying to make a case for hatton winning, what i'm trying to illustrate is than you cannot just be blind to reality and say Hatton has NO chance to win.

        What's up Hammer.

Not this old chestnut again, surely. Nobody ever disagreed that Hatton doesn't have a higher (less than 2%: insignificant) KO ratio, but you should take into consideration that he has had 7 fewer fights than Pacquiao, and if Hatton has 7 more fights against top-tier competition, you can almost guarantee his KO ratio will go down.

But anyway... let's not get into all this again.

Going up to face the king of 140 is a tough ask but I don't think it will be tougher than fighting JMM.

This is the biggest fight out there by a mile. The two most popular fighters in the world and in pacquiao - the best fighter on the planet vs the best guy at 140. This is going to be more than just a fight, it's gona be a worldwide event!

I believe the hardest fight was with Juan Manuel Marquez which for me and all the experts lost the second fight and the first one was well scored as a draw.

I agree with you 100%. The reality of it is that Pacquiao has never fought a real challenging fighter above 135. Manny has already stated in this article that he knows that Ricky Hatton would be a tough fight for him. Hatton is Unbeatable at 140, has felt harder punches than Manny & has stopped bigger guys than Manny in the past. 140 is Hatton's comfortable weight & Manny is a visitor.
I'm not convinced that Manny would be strong enough to hurt Hatton effectively. Maybe Manny's speed can over whelm Hatton but people are forgetting that Hatton is a fast guy as well that will follow Manny and force him to fight. Anything can happen come fight time but I don't see Manny Pacquiao beating Ricky Hatton especially since Manny has No defensive strategy only movement. I'm sure that Ricky will be able to connect on Manny & hurt him. Floyd Sr is in Hatton's corner as well so people should take that into consideration even though I'm noticing that they aren't.

Manny Pac full of class as always! Manny is gonna murder Hatton because its a job but as soon as its stopped you will see him perform the resurrection of Ricky Hatton because he's that good a guy!
