Puerto Ricans and Mexicans - Can't we all just Get Along?

I am proposing a truce. There has been enough hate and animosity between the two great boxing nations and cultures. It has gone far enough. There has been an immeasurable legacy left behind by Puerto Rican and Mexican fighters. We need to respect thier legacy and come together and respect each other. If you all are with me, please make yourself heard here!

LOL I don't think anybody takes your hate threads for Cotto seriously, because at the end of the day it's all jokes. But when you continuously post Cotto hate threads it's just funny that you'd throw this up as if you weren't responsible for saying outlandish **** yourself LOL.

If he does fight him, and defeat Manny.

it would mean Miguel > all of Mexico, right now.

And, it scares them to death.

I agree with the thread starter that we should make peace here on the site (even though I don't know if he means it), but I also agree that if Cotto beats Pac he would be the top fighter or close to it.

I understand the rivalry, i just don't understand the hate.. it's like if a mexican boxer loses to a PR, some people hope that boxer gets hit by a bus later that night.

I for one appreciate boxers from both countries. Time has shown that the toughest fighters have come from both countries..

You say u dont hate us but your attacking us like you do. Look the reason why you guys have more fighters is cuz u have way more people then us. Puerto rico is like 3 mil. On the island how many people live in mexico? No matter if we want a truce or not there will always be bad blood in the boxing ring. I grow up on it and i enjoy it because it makes it more exciting and if margo would of never been caught cheating he would still have all my respect. Mexico needs to keep building fighters so we keep going at it and enjoy it. Buy the way my gf is mexican.
