Cotto needed a fight like this to get back in action, plus he picked up a belt so I dont see the problem.

There nothing wrong with fights that help build up a fighter from a previous loss.
The problem is that there are a lot of nuthugers who won't admit that Jennings was a chump, and exalt Cotto for something that we knew was bound to happen.

Jennings wasn't on Cotto's level admittedly but in all fairness is was just a confidence builder for Cotto... which is fair after his recent loss.
