Funny thing is it would be a bigger pay day for fighter to go to Europe right now. IE Pac Vs Hatton as an example. Hatton will bring some 8-12K people MINIMUM all the way to the US for that fight. (No US fighter could do the same other way around) That will be over half the audience probably. He could do over 50K in the UK easy BUT they wont do it ... Same with Arthur in Germany. It would be WAY huge. Bigger than both the Cotto/Pavlik fights put together.

I have it a close fight but will lean towards Pavlik
due to height, reach and boxing skills. He has a great straight jab that can be turnd over into a hook. He will stay on outside. AA has the punchers chance. I definately think he has more power than Pavlik. Though it comes in a form of a hook. Hard for him to get a clean shot less he catch's Pavlik pulling out. Also have a wierd feeling Pavlik hurts AA with an upper cut.

    Winner fights Kesller ?
(Cause there isnt anyone else at 160)

I think Pavlik would brutally beat Abraham.

They get paid though. That's why a lot of lesser tier guys go there and make a bunch while the champs get worried they will get the shaft.

Yeah... when is Pavlik going to take a decent fight? Oh... wait... he fought the best 2 middleweights of the last 20 years 3 times in the last year and a half? This thread is probably silly.

The interesting and nice sideeffect of Arum going for easy defenses for Pavilk is that AA and Sturm might get back to negotiating a fight with each other. I really want to see that fight nearly as bad as AA vs. Pavlik.

Hmmmm..... Whenever a eurofighter goes to the US to fight one of the yank mediadarlings the euro fighter is behind at least a couple of rounds before the fight starts. At least that was the case when:

                      Sturm fought DLH
                      Schulz fought Foreman.

I guess you have to go back to the Ottke days to find really questionable decisions in Germany.
