    So if Arum gets pissed at him, he could freeze him out against Top Rank guys Kind of like how other promoters did, like Shaw with Donaire, and Mayweather with anyone from Top Rank.

    I hope that's not the case.

      I tend to agree. He's a free agent this year and he isn't happy with the situation with Margarito. It's just so weird to hear him being vocal, I've become so accustomed to hearing him deferring everything to Bob Arum.

        It could happen, but you have to understand that the money that Mayweather or Donaire fights make are not the kind of money that a Cotto fight makes.

        But I agree, a lot of promoters almost make it like their stable is their own league. They won't let you into that league, robbing the sport of great fights.

          I also noticed that Arum chose to attend the Pavlik fight. I mean, he can't be at both places at once, but you'd think Bob might want to show a tiny bit support for Cotto in light of recent events between.
