they'd beter slow down with this kid. I've seen a lot of fawning coverage, but this kid has a looooong way to go. Hate to see him end up like Panchito Bojado, Ricardo Williams, David Reid...etc..

David Reid was a different situation. He entered the pros with a serious eye injury, he knew his time was limited in boxing and got a lot done with his abbreviated career.

Bojado just didn't have the desire I don't believe, he doesn't look like he loves boxing.

Ricardo Williams, well you know his story.

Cory Jones was no monster step up, I think they're moving him along at a decent pace. He still has work to do though.

Good to see Korobov has one punch KO power.

They are throwing the kid in with a variety of styles right now. Exactly what they should do. He's a pretty slick dude to have that 1 punch power too.

Good kid, definitely can box and could be a star only if he was more aggressive. I hope they don't let him hanging for 10 years before he finally steps up at 30 something, for his own good.

cory trains at my gym. he's a good fighter with a solid amateur background. he fights anyone, any time if the money's right though. you can't always judge by the record. guys like cory haven't been protected at all in their careers, and they don't look to build up their records. he knew that korobov is a beast.

i'd definitely be interested in seeing this fight if anyone has it.

Jones was TKO'd once before but never knocked out. the guy who TKo'd him is 6-0. Jones is a runner and it was a good matchup to get a prospect used to different styles. Do you think he should be fighting Arthur Abraham right now????
