Cotto-Clottey: Why it could be made.

Since Cotto is upset with Top Rank and there support for Margarito who could have cheated possible against Miguel. He said he plans on leaving Top Rank when his contract it out. If there is a chance of this Arum has no reason to protect him from a dangerous fight like Clottey; who would be his only chance at keeping belts in the WW division. Not the same situation but some similarities to Campbell-Diaz when Juan left King for Golden Boy.

Yeah. It would be a bad move, though, as Cotto would put a beat down on Clottey. Cotto will probably stick around for a while as long as the prospect of a Pacquiao fight is there.

How can Cottoput a beat down on Clottey if Clottey doesn't give you a target. Clottey is a great counter puncher he just doesn't do it enough, Cotto is not that hard to counter punch. Clottey is also bigger and more durable.

That's cool I can respect your opinion, I can't see Cotto beating Clottey. Having a peek a boo style is not a weakness, and I don't see why that means Cotto would **** him up or beat him. Clottey is pretty big also, and he's not a KO puncher, but you could tell his hands are heavy.

well he would beat him but not *** him up i agree. and the peek a boo style may not be a weakness but its less activity, which is not good if your are facing somebody like cotto.

true, but clottey is big, tough and his defense will block most of cotto's punches.... last time cotto fought someone big and tough he lost.

clottey should've stayed busy with other top ten wws to get a known name so he could get a fight with top wws. cotto and clottey both like to fight on the inside, defensively clottey has the advantage but his defense slows down later in the fight.
