Nonetheless, Williams is a good fighter. I like the guy, he's exciting. The problem is he has fought only TWO ranked welterweights. Good start, but until he fights the other guys, he's not number one. Cotto has faced better opposition and lost only once as well. Mosley has fought Cotto close, beat Margarito and Collazo, all three ranked welterweights.

Really, this is a close bunch. To say ANYONE is CLEARLY anything, is just inaccurate.

Are you serious? Margarito barley landed anything against Shane with steam period. Mosley outclassed him and then knocked him out. Williams out boxed Margarito to a UD, where Margarito landed significant punches against him in the mid rounds and ****** him up in return.

Furthermore, you have no proof Margarito cheated against Williams.

Shane fought close with Cotto, beat Collazo, and knocked out Margarito.

He is the best welterweight.
