If he gets past Diaz he will have wiped out the Lineal Lightweight Champion in Casamayor, and gotten past the top challenger at 135lbs in Diaz.

Pacquiao only beat up on slow assed, paper Champion David Diaz.
I see your point.Old Casamayor isnt a lot better IMo though, thats a casa that got a gift from santa cruz

Casamayor is a lot better than Diaz. Look at his record. You can't blame Casamayor for the horrible judges who gave him the win in a fight he should've lost against Santa Cruz.

But rolling into the Marquez fight Casamayor was on a hot streak, on a 5 fight win streak. Hot off of the dramatic FOTY candidate with Katsidis.

And I wouldn't call 'Casa "old" when talking about Marquez, Marquez is no spring chicken himself at 35 years of age.

Diaz was awarded a vacant title (vacated by Casamayor), and barely managed to sc**** past a weight drained, war torn, battle scared, old as dirt Erik Morales.

Can't argue with that. I believe Marquez has all the skill and talent to score a wide UD, or possibly even a late TKO of Diaz next weekend.

I'm always nervous when it comes to Diaz. I don't like him, but his style can give anybody fits. Marquez included.
