Huh? Gamboa has been fighting great competition for only be 14 fights in, this is actually rare that he is fighting good competition so early, but he has had many many amateur fights so he can handle this.

eh... compare his record to andre ward, who turned pro 3 years earlier. ward has 18 fights, gamboa has 14. they're moving him along pretty quickly. they said it on air tonight- gamboa took the fight to stay active, which is the most important thing for a fighter on the rise to do.
