I agree with you on one point, Kessler is going nowhere. period
      But:
Who are the top at 168 right now
Lucian Bute, Carl Froch, Jermain Taylor

Lucian is a good and talented fighter who almost got ko by Andrade in a slow fight. Right now, Bute wouldn't be able to handle Kessler intensity and fast jab.
Lucian end up looking at the light.

Froch aint got the speed and reach and even is he can land couple of is huge power shot, Kessler would take it and out punch him.

Jermain Taylor already lost to Pavlik. In some way, Kessler and Pavlik look almost the same using jab and double jab, trying to past a big right hand.
(pavlik got a uppercut, but kessler doesnt use it)
The big difference is Kessler is faster, move better and he don't punch in your guard till he broke it, he is more accurate. Taylor might have mature from is Pavlik lost, but it remains to be see.

Right now I see Kessler as the man at 168.

      What do you think?

The SMW is an awful division mate. Only since Taylor came to the seen has it got some recognition, other than that, no offense to Froch and Bute, but it does not say much about the division does it

I just don't think Kessler is any good to be honest with you.

Either that or does he already know and that's why he's retiring.
So you blame Calzaghe for his resume or Warren? Are you trying to say he ducked people like mayweather is perceived to have done? Who do you think at this point has a better "resume" as you refer to it than Calzaghe at this point in Light Heavy Weight? 46-0; yeah he sounds like a bum: Hopkins, Lacy (which he forced to become a bum after crushing him), Jones (past his prime but can still beat 80-90% of the light heavies out there), and Kessler(who could beat almost all the light heavies out there-including Dawson).

Don't be so biased when commenting!!

                See even you admit:

                1. he hasn't beaten anyone
                2. he's not going anywhere (not going to beat anybody)
                3. by your logic through attrition he's the king of a pile of ****.

                Glad we cleared that up.

Great blog man, Good job, You should consider writing something about how pathetic it is that Sven Ottke and Calzaghe both think they have a world record for defenses when they were both defending the same so called championship at the same time. Or how pathetic it is that Calzaghe didn't even try for another belt until his 18th defense even though he held the least recognized belt in boxing.
