I think it does effect the fighter that has the loaded gloves in those areas. I'll tell you what,...If you had a 16 year old kid that was wanting to take steroids to gain an edge for his next years football season and you gave him a three month supply of "One A Day" multiviamins telling him they were the best steroids on the market. I'm 100% sure he would be alot bigger, stronger, and aggresive come next football season...
Why? Because your mind is an amazing thing! He would bust out that last rep in the gym all summer long, his confidents would raise, he would "think" that hidden edge would be there for him when he needed it while in the trenches.
Well, when you know you have hands that are going to get harder as the fight goes on, it makes it a little easier to dig through the trenches knowing that hidden edge will be there later in the fight. It's an amazing mental advantage that goes along with loaded gloves.
My opinion is he has used this tactic in previous fights...he's a fraud!

Agreed. Its like sparring a guy with 8oz bag gloves and you got the 20's on.

                You can ask Cotto yourself.
The body is always open.. you just have to make go there enough times and have the balls to do it..of course cement flying at your head takes away that.

You cannot seem to grasp the reality that plaster causes reluctance in your opponents. Very easy to look like the come forward terminator all night when you are ****in away with plaster wraps.

The big question is, does "steroids" Affect batting average, fielding accuracy, or RBI's???

I mean come on the only time A-Rod used steroids was when he got caught!!

I think it is safe to say that you are one of those type of posters in denial. And yes, in this site it is mostly a Mexican thing.
I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not one to ***** about a fighter's loss, I accept it and move on. I at least give credit to whoever beats them. I gave Vic props for beating Mijares who is currently my favorite fighter, I gave Mosley props for beating Margarito and I even gave Pac full credit when he beat Morales and Barrera. I didn't even cry robbery when he beat Marquez. Lastly, I'm not in denial, I've accepted the fact that Tony tried something su****ious in the Mosley fight but I have problems with posters who discredit his other wins because of what happened.
