Is Jennings your new favourite fighter?

I don't know why, but Jennings seems to have risen from obscurity to cult-hero in the matter of months. It's weird. I've gone from not knowing much about him, to anticipating his next fight more than Hatton-Mallignaggi, and Calzaghe-Hopkins.

I just hope he puts in a solid performance against Cotto. If he loses with style, maybe he can look forward to some further big matchups? Jennings vs Judah, and Quintana could be on the cards for him if he impresses on Saturday night. It would be a shame for him to go from fighting Cotto at Madison Square Garden, to fighting Young Mutley at the Hillsborough Leisure Centre.

I wish him luck, and hope he puts on the perfromance of his life. He's paid his dues and deserves to stay at international level.

War Jennings!!! My new favourite fighter.

Didn't know anything about him until recently. Watching his fight against Takaloo kinda surprised me. He is not a bad fighter at all, and I wish him good luck.

Cool. At least some people are showing him a little respect.

I really like the way he comes across.

The fact he plays in a band, has overcome a lot of personal trauma's and finds himself fighting at MSG. I'm behind him

        Good Luck Jennings.

I really want him to do himself justice, because he is a good fighter. I don't want a Lockett style blow out, namely because Jennings would probably kick Lockett's arse and he's better than that.

And if he wins, then he becomes one of my all-time heroes. No questions asked.

              brilliant!

thanks for that nugget on enlightenment.

Not a single soul thinks any differently. Jennings has just handled himself well.

Well, Jennings has been given the opportunity to fight a big name in a very historical arena (Madison Square Garden... mecca of Boxing!) and he has accepted it, and also plans to give it his all to cause an upset.... so I wish him all the best.

Personally I think Cotto will win this one... but with all the upsets that have been happening lately I cannot really say it is impossible to go the other way, we will have to wait and see... but I think I am tipping Cotto for this one to be honest.

Good luck to both fighters... just want to know if anyone knows whether it is going to be aired in the UK at all? Or will I have to stream it instead? (Hope not... streams are cool and all but unreliable I would rather watch on television).

                    Thanks in advanced.
