Of course I am. He has a far more proven track record against better opposition. Don't be mad at me. Even if you think Floyd wins that truth still stands. I'm going off facts.

Whitaker's dictated you be the aggressor, FAR more than Floyd's style. And both of their track records prove this. Just look at all of Pea's fights, even when he was old and washed up. Then look at Judah-Mayweather.
hmm... I would agree with you if I hadnt see whitaker fight ever.

floyd was way more defensive and safety-first than whitaker. whitaker's punch output probably doubles floyd's. even against an old dlh floyd did not throw alot of punches. whitaker threw alot more leather against a young dlh.

I'm not sure whitaker could FORCE floyd to be the aggressor. I'm more inclined to belive that whitaker would be the aggressor due to the fact that he was never shy about throwing punches.

Why would Whitaker force Floyd to be the aggressor? Throwing more punches doesn't make you the aggressor. Look at Joppy-Trinidad. Joppy threw countless more punches...was he the aggressor? Your logic doesn't follow here.

resume is not the end all and be all of boxing.

          boxing is an unpredictable sport.

Resume is not the end all be all...except when ranking fighters all-time.

But you're right, boxing is unpredictable. I guess that's one way to look at anything happening in the ring .

I conceed this point, but that doesnt prove that a boxer can force another boxer to be the aggressor against his own will.

but we aren't ranking floyd and whitaker, we are talking about a hypothetical fight between the two.

Ok, just checking because you responded to me. Glad you concede the point of throwing more punches...has absolutely nothing to do with being the aggressor. And you don't have to force another boxer to be the aggressor, it's how styles play out. Did Zab force Floyd to be the aggressor? Styles dictate.

                  Good debate.
