why wouldnt he. im sure mayweather would be able to counter whitiker. maybe even knock him down with the angles whitiker would be moving with. whitiker never fought anyone with the skills and quickness of mayweather imo

Perhaps you should learn to read properly.

1. I didn't say Mayweather had 'no' jab; I said his jab isn't good enough to trouble Whitaker. Most of the fighters Mayweather has fought haven't been excellent defensive fighters, so he hasn't needed to use his jab loads. For example Hatton. Ricky comes forward with his chin up. Why use a jab when you can hit him with a lead right? Mayweather doesn't utilize his jab enough, because he can generally catch his opponent with his lead read. Against Whitaker this would not work. Also, Whitaker would make Mayweather come to him, which is where Floyd is uncomfortable.

2. Where have I not given Floyd credit. He is an excellent fighter, I just don't think he's as good as Pernell. Ain't no shame. The man was a wizard in the ring.

great technical fight. their skills are about even and so is their athleticsim, but floyd is just too big for whitaker...

minus floyd size advantage I say its a draw everytime or they swap victories in multiple matches

He's lucky that Judah can't fight 12 rounds, otherwise it would have been awkward for him lol!

Pernell never did have Mayweather's handspeed, but he was just so damn difficult to hit, it makes speed less of a factor.
