The Reason Boxing Is Not What It Used To Be

You have real warriors like Clottey and Paul Williams getting frozen out (Clottey by his own damn promoter) of titles and divisions, big fights and $$$. All the real boxers who will fight anybody, anytime are having to search high and low for pay days while guys like Cotto etc. are hoping to beat up small men like Pacquiao. It is ridiculous. In the old days the best fought the best, often 4 or 5 times. Now, it never happens. You have Cotto vs Gomez, Cotto vs Jennings, Pavlik vs tomato can 1, Pavlik vs tomato can 2. I feel for Clottey. His manager and Arum will get theirs. You reap what you sew in this world.
