I don't like the term runner. The ring is 20x20 or whatever.
It's not like he's running out of the ring to a nearby town.
If his opponent can't catch him in the squared circle, he doesn't deserve to win.

And if Jennings can avoid shots and get his own in, I am fine by it.

If you can't cut off the ring, you don't deserve to win.

I think runner is thrown around too loosely.

I used to say the exact same thing when people made such comments about Floyd, but Jennings doesnt circle or anything like that.

Well Floyd was not a runner. You don't get high rate of accuracy and land more punches and lose a round no matter what you do.

If Jennings doesn't engage, he's not a runner, he's just a crappy fighter. But if he does more than the other guy, no matter how crappy he is, if its 6 punches to 3 he wins the round.

The Floyd is a runner talk irritates the crap out of me. He could dance but he could also sit in the pocket all day and make a guy miss.

Only the Ross Minter fight. But apparently on frankwarrentv there are more.
I think I am gonna check WBVA to see if there are more.

He's not bad actually. Not great but not bad.

Ross Minter's dad was better than him, I will say.

Yea Jennings is actually good at what he does. He doesnt want you to do anything, wants to get his off then he ties up or is gone. He moves left and right laterally and back then catches you when youre in midstep and he can do that all night long without getting tired. That would work on some pretty decent fighters but it wont for 12 rounds with Cotto.

I agree there. But man, if Cotto lost, it would turn this board upside down.
                  He won't though.

'Runner' is a bit of an unfortunate term. Whatever Jennings does though, I can't imagine anything else than Cotto cutting off the ring and wearing him down with brutal body shots.

I think Jennings will be training hard on his power for this fight, I really can see him landing something hard on Cotto's chin, if Cotto isnt fazed then its only a matter of time.
