I mean Cotto vs Jennings is a lot nore interestng and the fight that most people want to see. Plus the fact that the undercard of the event is in MSG not on Yougnstown. Vanda vs Duddy and Peterson vs Cherry will be at MSG I think.

So why they will put Pavlik vs Rubio as the main attraction fight. I

Probably because Pavlik's contract is not about to run out, so he needs him to be a cash cow going forward. There could also be logistical reasons as to why the Pavlik fight is after. Or he just flipped a coin over the issue, but Arum thinks to far ahead for something like that (imo).

After the Miguel Cotto fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, television transmission will move to Ohio to air the featire bout, the champion of 160 pounds of CMB, Kelly Pavlik, against Marco Antonio Rubio.

The two fights stellar cartel will not take the Garden stage because the company Top Rank, promoter of the event, felt it was better economically separate locations.

"We meant that if got here (the Garden) to Pavlik would not be a big difference at the box office. Economically it is better to separate them, "said Ricardo Jimenez, the company Top Rank.

Instead of being outside New York, Pavlik will fight against his people in Youngtown, Ohio.

Kelly comes from losing their unbeaten 34-0 before Bernard Hopkins in a fight they did in the 170 lbs.

The Mexican Rubio has 43-4 record.

The billboard in New York will present, in addition to the fight of Miguel Cotto and Michael Jennings, three other fights.

The New Yorker unbeaten John Duddy will face in the U.S. also at 160 lbs Matt Vanda.

Duddy is 27-0 with 17 nocauts and is ranked third in the World Boxing Council.

Vanda has a record of 39-8, including two losses by decision last year to Julio César Chávez, son.

He also unbeaten Anthony Peterson will face Edner Cherry in the 135 lbs.

Peterson has a record of 28-0 with 19 nocauts. Cherry has a record of 24-6.

And the full weight, and Cory Jones Matt Korobov complete the poster.

Russian Korobov has 3-0 mark, while Jones has a record of 4-1.

i think both kelly pavlik and miguel cotto are fighting undeserving fighters who are made to make them look good again..thats about all it really is
