People seem to not understand what Prospect means...

Boxings a hard sport especially as its an individual sport....with other sports like football all the prospects get their odd game here n there and even if they play bad...people will say "well hes only young n will learn"...i rarely see people say this with boxing, apparently you have to be fighting the best at the age of 22 lol

I cant say enough for Amir, his talent and style are unquestionable and he brings excitement be it in the form of a rapid fire 20 punch combo or the knowledge that he's one big shot away from defeat. His attitude is great, all the new Brits have great Attitude, Amir, Haye and Froch, cant fault them.

And i do think the loss was the best thing that could have happened to him, he took it like a man, said all the right things immediatley after and then made the change to the Wild Card where the seem to have addressed his only weakness - chin, by tightning up the Defence a bit more. Khan is still improving and will beat Kontelink for the title no doubt in my mind and after that im picking him over Ortiz as well

khan should do take that astronaut capsule test(the thing that spins around like lightnin, deforms your face to the speed and when it stops, ****, best believe you dizzy as ****) it might help him with getting tapped and losing all equilibrium

My problem with Khan is that he avoided the two people he should have fought before moving up to Euro level and beyond.

Had he fought Murray and Thraxton and won he would have the respect of the British Boxing public.

But no he got sat on his behind and nearly beaten by Limond and Gomez and then said he was to good to be fighting at that level.

Since getting beaten by an Unknown inside 30 seconds (An unknown he is now ranked higher than Bazaarly) he has faced a bum and a 36 year old in his first fight at the weight, a guy who should by rights have been stopped after the first rounds because he couldn't see from a massive cut.

Sorry i'm not sold on the hype.

If he beats Kotelnik, then he can start calling out the likes of Hatton, IF he beats hatton then he can start calling out the likes of PBF.

Right now he needs to STFU and stop trying to get fights he has in no way earned.

Put damn near anyone with any ambition in his shoes and they by pass the brittish level guys too, put Thaxton or Murray in his shoes and i gaurentee they do the same!

The point I'm trying to make is, Khan is far from a finished product, but he is not a bum as some people on this board would have you believe. Age is on his side, and if he can carry on improving his defensive skills, he could be a World Champion before the year is out. You may think he is ****y and arrogant, but I think he is young and confident. He always wants to entertain, and has never been in a boring fight. If you want drama, this is where to find it. Give the guy a chance and stop being so harsh on the lad.
