To me Top Rank will only go down when Bob Arum is no longer at the top of his game. He is smart and knows what he is doing, very few promoters can even come close to developing fighters like Arum does (at this point anyways), so aslong as he can get great young fighters and develope them into stars he will be fine.

Arum also knows how to play the fight buying public like a fiddle.

In all fairness admittedly there wasn't any need in bringing Floyd into it... it was simply a thread about Pacquiao and Hatton, not Mayweather (coming from a Floyd fan).

At the moment I am tipping Manny, however I might change my mind closer to the fight (maybe I will get a gut feeling or something)... I don't think Hatton should be underestimated or anything because there fighting at a weight Hatton is comfortable at and has never lost at but I think Pacquiao will take this one.

I think we’re going to see a version of PAC that we haven’t seen in years…he’ll still be cautious but he wont be as hesitant as he was in the Oscam fight…he also doesn’t have to worry too much about falling for counter traps….once he realizes how much his stance and southpaw stance is bothering Ricky, then the floodgates open and it’ll be one long, painful highlight reel

What do I think? I'm not a very good person to be asked that, I'm very partial and biased poster. With that said I believe Hatton will KO Pacquiao in around the 11th round. Hatton's rough tactics reminds me of the late Agapito Sanchez who Pac had difficulty with. Still it will depends if the referee will allow it. Hatton fought almost everybody at 140 and have yet to stop him.

I'll start a betting thread in a few days. Anybody who will be rooting for Pac....pls bet me. (no pinoys pls.)
