    Are We Sleeping On Hatton?

One second I think that Pac is just a horrible matchup for him and will destroy him but then I will watch a clip of Hatton and think that Hatton will destroy Pac. When Hatton is on his game I do think people forget how good he looks. He's very very strong, he has arguably just as much speed as Pac, he is relentless, and he looked like a very good all around fighter with Senior last fight.

I also think he is super underrated from a wins perspective. I mean this guy did beat a very good Tszyu and it had nothing to do with Tszyu being shot like alot of people say. He also beat Collazo at WW where Ive always said that he never gets enough credit for. People tried to act like he was a bum for barely beating him but Collazo is a very good fighter. Alot of people like Urango and he beat him. Maybe Castillo was done but Hatton still stopped him with a body shot which is impressive. He only has one L which was to the best guy in the game.

I do think that Pac being a Southpaw is a huge advantage in every fight and will again be in this one as I think the lefty's can land on Hatton very easily with power shots. Thats why I think it will be a very good fight either way. I wouldnt be shocked at all if this is another Hagler-Hearns, Pryor-Alexis, or Castillo-Corrales. I think it will be an exciting war that people will be talking about for a long time which will hopefully set up a Pac-Floyd matchup that people will drool over even in the mainstream.

Problem is Hatton is there to be hit way more than Pacquiao is. Since adding the use of angles to his arsenal, Pacquiao has become very slippery and slick. Ricky is fast, but I think Manny will throw more combinations which will make it hard for Hatton to get at him, and then to top it off, Pacquiao will keep him turning. Now the wild card in this fight is Mayweather Sr. With more time to work with Hatton, maybe he will finally become a combination puncher. Hopefully he gets Hatton away from the god awful lunging hook. Should he employ his jab more and set up combinations, perhaps he can keep Manny from throwing his. We'll see, but at this point I still have Pacquiao taking this and by late round KO at that.

Or maybe is it because he is a P4P fighter and number in his weight and hold ring title.

It's fair to call Hatton the underdog, it's wrong to say he has no chance at all.
