The first thing that jumps to mind that I have to comment on is the 12th round of Toney/Jirov. Of course we all know that Jirov finally got put on his ass, but I couldn't believe he stayed up for that long. Toney was just firing an endless string of bombs at him throughout the 12th and Jirov was wavering around takin em all. Crazy.

Uh...Antwun Echols landed a homerun hook/uppercut deal on Bernard Hopkins in their second fight. It was the 8th or 9th round maybe...? Massive shot anyway...that would have put a lot of guys down and out.

The uppercut that Bowe landed on Holyfield in the 10th round of their first fight is one of the hardest uppercuts ever landed. Evander was a beast for taking that.

I was shocked that Miguel Cotto was able to stay on his feet after eating those bombs (in combination) that Ricardo Torres was hitting him with.

        LaMotta vs Robinson VI

Carmen Basilio in almost every fight of his.

        Beau Jack vs Ike Williams

        Frazier vs Ali III

        This:

Ortiz threw almost 100 punches with no return by Matthews.

Oh yeah. I think it was the first time I saw a fight where the microphones was placed close to the ring. You could hear loud and clear when Mugabi was landing.

I'm so impressed by all the fights you have seen and remember. Here you post a vid with 2 fighters where I only know little of one of them (Ortiz) and yet you know that exactly this piece matched this thread.

Your knowledge Manchine is just awesome :

Also, the left uppercut Judah landed on Tzyu.
Man I forgot about that one. Cosme is a tuff MF. He proved that Saturday night against Angulo. Just the week before, Arce ate some nasty punches from Darchinyan that u just know would've put down everybody else in that weight class. Also Andrade-Kessler anyone?
