As far as postfight interviews go I'd rather him speak Spanish.

He's managed to become a star without resortin to bein mouthy and disrespectful to people when he talks and I like him better for that. Dude lets his fists do the talkin, which more fighters should do more often.

        Miguel's an introvert.

It's natural for him to keep to himself and think to himself.

I'd rather have someone who's true to their personality, instead of someone who fakes being a loud mouth when he's not being real to himself.

How many ALI wanna-bes have we seen?
We don't need any more of those!

It's ANOTHER reason I like Miguel. He's never caved into the pressure of selling out his real personality.

When it's an English-speaking interviewer, and an English-speaking TV audience at home, the constant translating gets a bit old. Why aren't these young guys making any effort to learn or speak even some English?

I just can't explain it, but this guy doesn't seem to have a personality, he never has an opinion or something interesting to say. And it's very annoying.

Plus, this will be very difficult for him if he wants to become a household name or become a very big draw.

Maybe you should keep watching WWF. Personality is NOT something I require from a fighter. I am not a sponsor, nor do I eat wheaties. I don't get the "hate" you have for Cotto interviews??

Do you think maybe you just hate life? "peeleft:

                    Cotto is just boring
He doesnt need to be like Ali or Mayweather, **** just be normal and have a sense of humour from time to time.

What good is a garfield smile and plastic personality like Oscar De La Hoya, if you are going to run from Tito all night anyway?
