I really want to see him and Ward fight each other but that won't happen, Lacy is a good fight for him at this point but it's a risky fight because of Lacy's power, Lacy isn't the same fighter now but he can still punch and Dirrell gets hit a bit too much so you never know in that fight. He's in line for a shot at Balszay, who would give him a lot of problems so I'm not sure if he wants to take that risk.
I think he's going to be a champ. I've recently decided that Dirrell and Ward are likely to be the Judah and Mayweather of this upcoming decade. The question will be if Dirrell will actually reach his full potential, unlike Judah or like Judah rely on his potential to achieve some good things, but not really make the most of his potential.
I am, though, looking forward to Dirrell's fight on March 28 and am glad that Showtime seems to be making a real effort to build him up properly after HBO and especially Larry Merchant took him out to the woodshed and left him for dead purely on the basis of one lackluster performance in his 12th pro fight.
Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell are the future of the division. They are coming up at a time when 168 is pretty exciting to watch. It'd be nice to see one step up around the end of the year. After a couple of set up fights. An Andrade fight for either would be interesting. 2010, and these guys will be in the top 10, comfortably. Or... atleast should be.

I agree. I just can't wait until the networks realize what they have on their hands with these two. Especially since there are so many good fighters at 168. You have good tv fighters like Sakio Bika, Librado Andrade and Edison Miranda. Then you have good titlists like Mikkel Kessler, Lucien Bute and Carl Froch. Then you have Jermain Taylor and probably Arthur Abraham soon. And Ward and Dirrell could be the best of the bunch.
