I agree this is what Hatton needs to do is work the body all night long but in order to work the body he is going to have to:

1. Catch Pac
2. Take a number of punches coming in
3. Keep Pac at bay

I think the opposite. He will need to smother Pac to nulify his straight shots. He needs to move in quick and hard and stick to Pac like glue.

And the punches he takes coming in may be too damaging for Hatton to win.
I think Pac will have more success than Hatton.

i'm pretty sure the best tactic here for hatton is to make frequent holding which he normally does, and put more vaseline on his face, hold pacquiao then hit the body hehehe...

But it`s true, the late Agapito Sanchez used that technique. Punch as much as possible for 4 rounds then unobviously headbutt in the 5th, decision by scorecards. He would have a chance. Because if he`d go for the body, the head leans in anyway.

Another way for Hatton to win is by holding and hitting before the referee breaks, Mayweather Sr. said that himself after Pac-Oscar.

Still another way Hatton can win is by fighting southpaw and BOX.

The final way is pray that Pac comes in overweight and that they take him to a hospital extremely dehydrated, unable to fight.

Or maybe slip something in their water bottles so that Pacman goes to the toilet every round.

Yup... but Hatton is pretty good at hyping himself up to be competitive against true elite fighters. I'm beginning to think he might have a chance.
