UFC fighter Dan Hardy of Nottingham, who meets Rory Markham this weekend on the UFC 95 pay-per-view at the O2 Arena in England, has launched a vicious attack on the recently retired Joe Calzaghe of Wales. [details]

What on gods green earth has Dan Hardy ever done??? Who the fcuk is he ?? is he another MMA fighter who's jealous of boxers ?? If he wanted to have a crack at calzaghe why didn't he try it?? theres no time like the present !

Maybe he is right who knows. Maybe he is different off camera, I would suspect the UFC guy is somewhat credible because what agenda could he have? If it was another boxer in his weight class wanting a fight then I might not believe the trash talk, but considering the UFC guy has to know he isnt going to get a Calzaghe fight, it seems what he is saying is possible.

No way to really know but the media portrayals arent always accurate. Ive seen a few people who said they met James Toney in person and that he was a really nice guy despite his on camera reputation.

(a) That guy met Calzaghe for 5 minutes, didn't like him, so what's the big deal? Lots of others who have met him do like him. There isn't an adult alive who is liked by everyone who has ever met them.

(b) Several people who know Calzaghe personally have posted in this thread, including one who is a neighbour of his, but you prefer to give credence to the opinion of someone who once met him for 5 minutes?

(c) The guy comes from Nottingham (Carl Froch land) and is about to take part in a fight there. Because of the bad blood between Froch and Calzaghe, it will obviously help him get crowd support in his fight if he makes statements like this.

Holding back evidence would be completely pointless and not serve your interests of genuinely exposing an alt and making some Calzaghe liking posters look bad. You don't submit any evidence because you do not have any, it's quite simple, like you.
