Jacksonville, FL: Former unified lightweight champion Nate Campbell had this to say when informed about recent remarks made about him by Zab Judah:

"Let me tell you something flattop, Zab can get it. If he can make 140, he can come get it. But I'm not doing all this calling out business anymore. I'll fight anyone they put in front of me. I called out everyone and their mother at 135, and what did it get me? A cancelled Guzman fight, and a very tough fight with a friggin giant in Ali Funeka. And to top it off, now I hear all these 135 guys are trying to make their fights for all my old titles. Aint none of them wanted those titles when I had them, but now that I'm moving up all the sudden they all want the belts. Too funny. But here's the thing, I'm done with all that calling out stuff. All Zab needs to know is that if he can make 140, then we can do this. Zab says that 140 is his house? Man, 140 is a vacant house. If anything, it's Hatton's house. Zab aint lived there in 5 years or better. So lets save all the yapping for the press conferences, and if he can seriously make 140, then come on with it. Lets do it".

Ha, ha, ha, ha.....OMG, I knew that Soupy and Star Trek would have a press release coming...it's inevitable like the sun rising in the morning but even I am in awe at how quickly it came. I figure it would be about two weeks before Soupy and his ilk would even show their faces after losing his belts on the scale, disgracing his name and almost letting an unknown fighter beat him.

Of course you are not calling out the boys at 140 because they are a different kind of beast then you are dealing with..

Let me tell the facts of life Soupy....those boys up north will fight back and hurt....hurt you for real and for a long time. With the exception of Judah (who has just enough left to murder you) they are all under 30, Soupy and are the future of our great business.

You are not the future...... ****.....you aren't even the present and damn sure ain't the past. So now here it is, you are going to be sending out press releases and blog forever and forever because that the one thing in boxing that you do better than anything else.

Great fight, make it happen. Put it on HBO not PPV please. But great fight and I will definately be there to watch it. Too many unknowns to predict a winner but as of right now, I would probably lean towards Zab. I think he will be bigger, stronger, and faster than nate, and all though I think nate is a better boxer, I think Zab is still a bigger and better athlete, and I think in the end it will be too much for nate. Nate could surprise me though that is why I can't make a real prediction, just where I'm leaning, and thats why I love this fight because its so unpredictable and its between to fast, athletic, punchers. Get it done now already.

Yep, I said that if Funeka didn't beat Soupy in 4 rounds, that the fix was in.

Even before that match, the judging and reffing was incompetent the whole night prior to the main event so it was no surprised that they robbed a fighter fighting on foreign soil.
