How did you score Mosley vs Cotto?

Such a huge misconception. You can very much make a case for Cotto winning round 9. People always say that's the round he started running. Because of that I've rewatched that round like 5 times in the past week, and you can easily give it to Cotto.

Breakdown of that round.

First 1:30...Cotto looks great, clearly wins the first half of the round
Shane lands a huge right hand
They hold, do some work inside, Cotto lands some jabs
Shane lands a huge left
They hold, do some work inside, Cotto lands some jabs
Shane lands a huge right
They hold, di some work inside, Cotto lands some jabs
Cotto lands a huge left right before the bell.

I gave that round to Cotto out of consistency. Shane landed 3 really big punches and did nothing else.

Again....someone please tell me how Shane winning the 9th round was so clear.

No way cotto won round 9, He was tired in that round backed off and looked hurt to the viewing eye.

I've watched that fight twice since the Mosley upset against Margarito. There were many rounds that were close...but in my view, Cotto won the fight.

I either end up giving him 115-113 or 116-112.

Cotto dominated that round???? Wow sorry but i still scored it for mosley, Cotto was backpedalling and trying to stick out the left jab, Mosley was chasing him and trying to land big-shots, Neither land anything in the double figures but mosley did seem to outland cotto with powershots.

It's not good when you refer to compubox numbers to back your score up.

You just described the 10th round in bold btw. Mosley lands one big right hand and Lampley makes everyone believe Cotto was badly hurt.

And another thing, Cotto's jab was a big factor in the fight, which on paper is not a power punch. But in reality was an impactful thudding punch. Are you sure you werent watching this fight with bias?
