    ..Alexis Arguello-Joel Casamayor...

At 135, and obviously in their primes. Who do you guys think takes this one?

I'd lean towards Arguello, but it's a tough call because of how slick Joel is.

    Anyway, Vote. Discuss.

I think it would end up being a close fight but I think Arguello would end up being the more aggresive fighter which I think would aid him in the judges eyes. I think he would force Casamayor to fight at a little faster pace then he normally likes (he did fairly well with this in his prime though).

It might come down to what a judge looks for if they look for aggression (effective or not) or boxing and countering.

I tend to think they are close enough in ability, that it would be hard for Casamayor to get the call, atleast with the normal route he takes in fights (but Joel was pretty damn versitile, so I could be wrong and he would find a different path to victory).

Arguello would of gotten to Casamayor eventually, because Casamayor was too much the warrior and not enough the Boxer. Casamayor always deviates from his game plan and ends up trading, he has to be one of the most skilled, but dumbest strategic fighters of all time.

I see Casa building up a good lead, but eventually getting into a trade off where he would get hurt. Arguello did not cope well with movement that is why he lost to Fernendez, allthough he did come on strong towards the end and i think he would of won that fight had it been a 15 round fight. This is one of the only reasons i would give Casamayor A chance of winning.

Casamayor deffo aint taking Arguello's best punch to the body or head, its a matter of can he frustrate Arguello and avoid the bullet, but giving his past history (poor game plan) chance are against it.

PS he has no chance of knocking Arguello out either.

Yea if there was going to be a knockout, Arguello I think would be the one to score it.
