Everyone is going to jump on Pavlik if he fights Duddy because of Arum. I already seen a similar thread to that. A promoter and his fighter both deserve some of the blame....

Johnson offered a mere 500K for this fight. Kessler makes over 2 million fighting Larsen.

Dawson turned down Kessler for a fight at 170.

There was preliminary negotiations between Kessler and Froch. In the end froch opted for Taylor and Kessler opted for Larsen.

the fight with johnson is one that i thought he should have taken it would have given him good exposure but the purse for that fight was measley - iv heard the figure was something like 500k now when you consider that kess might well make 4x for fighting larsen in denmark then its hardly a surprise that the fight didn't get made.

the fight with dawson will be made whe kess moves up, kess is a huge SMW and won't be there for long - he looked absolutely ripped against calzaghe and just about madade 12st. but why should kess move up to fight dawson when he knows that he has unfinished buisness at SMW - at SMW he has bute, miranda, bika, froch and taylor and possibly arthur abrahama and pavlik. LHW has nowhere near the same quality or quantity of names.

the bout with froch will be made hopefully sooner rather than later - i hear frochs madatory (taylor) is going to move onto allan greene so if the fight with larsen doesn't get made then i expect to see froch and kess face off in the summer

500K plus exposure, that would do wonders for Kessler, agreed but money does make sense.

Dawson asked the fight at 175, catch weight is pointless. It called a risk moving up a fighting Dawson who is a small LHW

I don't mind the Larsen fight and neither should anyone else but in the end it won't do much for his legacy or create any new buzz around Kessler. What fight would you rather see and which one would be more beneficial towards his career? 500,000$ is no lump sum of money, maybe in Euros it is

How can you call a close fight like that a robbery?
