kessler is a huge dude, why didnt he want to fight at 175? kessler isn't big enough to demand fights at catchweight anyways.

      1. Manny Pacquiao
      2. Juan Manuel Marquez
      3. Bernard Hopkins - In 2 years will likely be dropping out of the top p4p, he is old and there isn't really anyone left for him other than a fight with Dawson which would almost guarantee Dawson the boost he needs to jump up.
      4. Israel Vazquez - In 2 years with his eye complications and the fact that he seems game to fight other young/strong fighters.. I see him very likely leaving his spot for either being defeated or health.
      5. Shane Mosley - Folks were ready to retire Mosley just before the Margarito fight. He turned back the clock and looked great.. however, 2 years is a long time from now. He's talked about fighting some big names. Age is catching up and his heart may be too big, I wouldnt' be surprised to see him drop out of the top 10 before 2 years time.
      6. Rafael Marquez
      7. Ivan Calderon
      8. Ricky Hatton - I'm a big Hatton fan but it's hard to see beating elite fighters for another 2 years.
      9. Celestino Caballero
      10. Vic Darchinyan

.. We also have to consider the likliehood of several folks jumping into the top 10.. I expect the likes of Cotto and Paul Williams jumping in there fairly soon. All and all I expect to see the top 10 look pretty different 2 years from now leaving plenty of room for Dawson to slide into a good spot. Everyone is saying where are the big names but TBH the names on his resume are just as big as the names on Calderon or Caballero's resume. A few more solid performances and he should start getting the respect I believe he deserves.

Specifically Izzy with his eye and the fact that he looks to be taking a couple battles and out.
        I agree with that.

What I am not getting is how people are say Dawson has no comp @175 yet Calzaghe fought virtually nobody and was high on the list. What is the difference for Calzaghe fighting basically below average comp and Dawson supposedly doing the same?

I don't agree with too much Mayweather says but I agree this is guy is moving up in the ranking.. Not to #1 quite yet as Mayweather suggests but definitely he's got top 5 talent with a solid resume. As i've said I like Ricky but P4P I don't see how Ricky is better than Chad.

I just want a explanation as to why Calzaghe can fight supposedly weak comp remain undefeated and move up the P4P rankings but Dawson can't do it? Where is the logic in that?
