Does Gatti need to make a come back?
I was and always will be a huge Arturo Gatti fan . He made fight of the year four times. Also in his first fight with micky Ward ,the ninth round went down in history as the best round ever in boxing history. What he lacked in some skills he made up with a hell of a chin and a heart of a spartan warrior. Is also the reason that earned him the nick name, Blood and Guts Warrior. It was not good to see him go down hill. After his lost to Floyd Mayeather Jr. , it was obvious he wasn't the Gatti of old. And Mayweather surely didn't beat him to that point. Two grooling fights with Ivan Robinson and three with Irish Micky Ward took a lot out of him. After Mayweather he faced, Thomas Damgaard from Denmark (37-0-27).Gatti TKOd him in in 11th round. They say every fighter has on good fight left. He was to go on and suffer two TKO loses to Carlos Baldomir and Alfonso Gomez. apparently Gatti wasn't what he use to be. I dont know about anyone else but I've seen enough of a great Warrior-Champion take abuse for no reason. Gatti has done alot in boxing, and given die-hard boxing fans a lot of good memories. Gatti may face Antonin Decarie (21-0-6) from Canada..

No, coming back means taking more punishment, Gatti has taken enough punishment to last a lifetime, I mean that in the best and most respectful way. -
