Dawson vs. Tarver Reportedly Postponed, Chad Injured

What I hate about all of this is that Chad will only fight Tarver and Cloud for the rest of the year. That seems like a useless 2009 for Chad. He could have fought better competition against Johnson, Diaconu, Hopkins, Jones Jr.

Tavoris Cloud vs. Tarver would be excellent. Tarver would be stopped for the first time, and Dawson would have no excuse to not fight Tavoris then.

I ain't too concerned wit this fight anyway, but it does prolong the wait til Chad's next meaningful fight.

If HBO wants to show a Tarver fight on that night how about Tarver-Johnson 3. With the winner getting a shot a Dawson (I doubt Taver would go for it, but I can dream).

To me it is no big deal if this fight never happeaned, but it getting pushed back is the worst outcome, because this will have to be cleaned up before Dawson can move on to better things.

I'd give Tarver a good chance to be competitive, maybe stopping Cloud late in the fight. I was impressed with Tarver against Dawson. He clearly lost and wasn't close to winning, but he gave a lot better fight then expecting. Cloud has stamina problems and *teddy atlas voice* MAYBE he can land one of his famous straight left hand ****! and put Tarvious Cloud out.
