Why is it a lock? Because of his wins over Mosley and Trinidad right? If that's the case then I dont agree.

A loss to PW certainly wouldnt help him (especially since your opinion of him seems to be low).

He only really has the two wins over Mosley who was never that great at 154 lbs and Tito Trinidad who has fought every now and then since his loss to Hopkins.

A win over Paul Williams would probably be one of the top 3 best wins in his whole career. Lets not forget that he has losses to Vargas, Simon, Vasquez and Hopkins even if some were questionable.

right now id rank a win over paul williams higher than his wins over sugar shane, i just think sugar shane had no place at 154, hes a small guy and and 147 is probably his best weight.

i know i might sound like im saying paul williams is a better fighter than shane but that isn't the case.

its like bernard hopkins wins against DLH and glen johnson, without doubt DLH is the better fighter but he had no place at the weight class.

imo a win over williams would be a very respectable name for winky now but could be a great name for him to have on his resume in a few years when williams dominates 154, in the same way that for hopkinsj johnson was great name for him to have when johnson went up and recorded victories over top competition

I'm not saying that it will (or that he won't get into the HOF even if he didn't win) but it would help him get there since a win over Williams would be one of the best ever in his whole career.
