Doubtful. I can't see Cotto going up to 154 unless he has to.

Right now, with Angulo's defensive liabilities, Cotto would pick him apart.

If Angulo tightens up his defense in the future, he'd probably be too much for Cotto. Right now the experience gap is just too huge for Angulo though IMO.

I'd pick Cotto for a late round stoppage, I doubt he will ever abandon his body punching again as it cost him his spot on top and with Angulo I personally think that is what you need, you need to chop his body down, make it hurt for him to throw punches at you. Angulo will be a very good fighter, I respect the **** out of him already and hope for good things to come his way but not only is a fight between him and Cotto too early it's also a bad match up of styles, Cotto is better at this juncture in every aspect. Angulo would look great at times but I just can't see him beating Cotto..

        Co sign!!!!!!!!

I really like Angulo so, I hope, he improves his defense. I dont want to see him been another punches eater like Margacheato. El PErro seems very humble too.

Angulo will need to get experience to fight Cotto, he can't make the same mistake like Vargas with Tito.

I doubt Cotto will move up to 154, he should know he's too small for that division, he's not the biggest welterweight out there. But if it does happen and Angulo doesn't improve his defense, I think it'd go something like the first 6 rounds of Cotto-Margarito, Cotto by knockout.
