Stamina not workrate. You can be super-fit and well conditioned without having great stamina (analogous to long distance runners vs. sprinters). Barrera has frequently gone the distance in tough fights against world class opponents, whereas Khan's stamina has yet to be tested.

i agree with all the above but id also give khan the stamina.. iv seen him do 12 rounds before and he had a high work rate through out and showed his stamina to be very good.

barrera maybe older and shorter than khan but is oozing with experience. this is another battle of youth vs experience. fortunately for barrera, older boxer seems to be the trend nowadays. hopkins won against pavlik, mosley beat cotto and lately, campbell edged funeka.

barrera is the hope of has-been fighters.

It surprises me that Khan is the betting favouite. I don't think Khan has the power to KO Barrera, so in 12 rounds Barrera needs to land one hard punch and it's game over.

im assuming you mean margarito, not cotto

but barrera is much more over the hill than any of the fighters you just named. we might have seen the best hopkins, and the best mosley of their entire careers those nights. they arent has beens, barrera is REALLY on the end of his career. however i could see him taking khan to school and even stealing his lunch. barrera isnt even that old, he just has alot of miles. however, this is the same guy who upset the prince, hes definitely got the brains to fluster khan.

my over all pick though... coin toss!

Damn... Khan's key fights list is embarassing in comparison to Barrera's. Roach is counting on Khan being able to swarm Marco with speed and activity like Pac did, the problem is, when Manny got countered he was able to handle the power and raise his hands to taunt and frustrate Barrera. Khan can't do that; he might be able to swarm him with speed and activity, but he will get countered in the process and he won't react like Pacquiao did.

Barrera will see this and keep trying until the mission is complete. Also, MAB's activity level in the Ventura fight was real good for the minimal prep he probably had for that fight.
