Watching the St Valentines Day Debacle has probably killed it for me. Trying to watch 3 migraine-inducingly choppy streams with audio cracking like an untuned TV....horrible.
I think that's me out of the stream game. And I'm sad, folks.
It's been absolutely wonderful staying up Saturdays mornings for ages now, watching a semi-decent stream, from Sopcast to Justin TV, with the unbeatable excitement of watching something live.
But ever since those ****s HBO got on the case, everything is becoming such a pain; having to have at least 4/5 stream links as tabs, in case one goes down. PMing people mid-fight, asking desperately for new links. Even the streams that do work are in horrible quality these days. Mosley vs Margarito was ridiculous - the stream actually stopped working at the point Shane had Margs hurt and Marg's body was crouching, a couple of punches away from falling. It just froze at that exact moment. I kid you not.
I think I'm just gonna wait for the next day and download the fights without knowing who won. It's not the same, but watching ****ty streams that are getting closed all over the place is ruining fights for me now.
You've won, HBO. You've won.

It's been a great ride, guys. And there was something pretty neat about the way everyone helped each out, even people you disliked, or who disliked you.
But it's over, isn't it?
