Very True, a couple of wins over that type of oppenent later and with a mouthy well known trainer like Floyd in his team plus a nice pretty "0" on the end of his record and people will be screaming for a Pac fight tho

if you really think that Katsidis or Casamayor has a chance against Guzman, then if and when that fight happens look me up. I am willing to bet you money not points in this one here.

Guzman is very talented, fast hands and fast feet and makes guys look bad.
He, however, can be dreadful to watch because he doesn't engage enough.
His last fight, he was fighting a guy he clearly outclassed, but not once went for the kill, not once did he try to make the fight end early.
He seems to content to box all night, and not please the crowds.

That's the frustrating part of him. He can be a pain to watch at times.

To be onest if you had done ya resaerch you would know he had already been fighting legit fighters in Humberto Soto who before he fought Guzman hadn' been beat in 21 staright fights and in those fights had wins over Olympic silver medalist Rocky Juarez, and since the Guzman defeat has went on to win the WBC super featherweight title.

Guzman beat him rather comfortable by scores of 117-111,117-111 and 118-110.

He also holds a good win over former WBO super featherweight Jorge Rodrigo Barrios, who was on a 7 fight win streak, and in the past has beat at the time unbeaten Mike Anchondo, at time another unbeaten Janos Nagy, and was on the seconds defence of his title before Joan beat him in a close fight.

Guzman has also beat at the time current unbeatens Terdsak Jandaeng(18-0),Fernando Beltran Jr(24-0-1) and Fabio Daniel Oliva(18-0-0)

So to say he hasn't been fighting legit fighters is a bit of a insult, as i think that needs to be said about fighters like Tye Fields not Joan Guzman.

Joan Guzman is a very skilled fighter, as he's proved, and would give any of the top names a good fight and even beat some of them, only if he can stay disciplined and keep his weight down.

Its not enough tho, when ur as good as he is anyway, Barrios and Soto are quality but they alone aint enough
