Should Funeka move up in weight?

I think this guy has some good skills and incredible physical advantages but a 6'1" guy at lightweight is too skinny. He looks like he should be fighting at 140, minimum. I understand he's probably not the strongest guy, but adding a few pounds might help him take a better punch. What do you think?

I thought that his game plan was kinda weak. In addition to moving up, he might need a better trainer.

I agree, I think he needs a good trainer and move to welterweight or jww. I think he deserved a draw though.

Yea but Campbell isn't a HUGE puncher and he managed to deck Funeka twice, so how his chin would hold up at 140 is a question mark. I think he should stick around at 135 for a while until he cannot make the weight.

he's got anotha shot in his future at 135 if he stays there, since he made a strong showin against Nate. No need for him to jump up just yet.

I think he's fine right where he is. I don't even think he needs a new trainer. Campbell just got away with a close one. Not like Funeka got man-handled. If he'd have won, I wouldn't have even argued. I think he's gonna be someone I wanna watch at 135.

No. He makes 135 pretty easy. He even made 130 at a time. He only rehydrated 8 pounds after the weigh in. Campbell hits pretty hard and people at 140 hit just as hard. He's better staying off at 135 where there aren't to many hard punchers other then Edwin Valero.

no need for the move up, he is fine where he is at and 135 is where all of the money is at. He just need a little help on the footwork.

no, he should stay at 135 as long as he can cause there are money fights there... he definitely needs a new trainer to help with defending against the overhand right tho.

i think he should, i think guys that are 6'1" at welterweight are way too tall...imagine 135. its a whole nother story when your punching downward rather than upward, not to mention when you have longer arms than your oponent. i dont like it when fighters take advantage of their height and campaign in weight classes where they know they are much taller then most in that weight class. see campbell exhausted towards the end in that fight.
