I think that Berto would evicerate Cintron at this point. To me Berto is better all around and has many options then Cintron to win the fight. Cintron is bigger and has a decent punchers chance (but to me if you need a knockout to win that does not speak well of someones chances of winning at the world class level).

I heard the ref say "Its over" twice to Cintron after the count,what ensued after was just a disgrace.

I heard the ref say "Its over" twice to Cintron after the count,what ensued after was just a disgrace.

It was not the ref that said it is over~. The ref was only saying there was no headbutt, then Cintron flipped (running around the ring screaming about a head butt, so much so that his trainer told him to be a professional) out then Martinez started to celebrate, which all lead to mass confusion. The ref did not do a good job of being clear about what was going on, but I never saw him end the fight (if the ref says no knock out, guess what no knock out) and watched the whole fight 3 times (which means I saw the situation in doubt like 15 times).

Cintron was lucky because most ref would have said he was done, but this ref said Cintron got up. The ref himself said he did not end the fight, so if the person that was in charge in the ring says that, there is really no place the argument can go.

Cintron did look like **** through vast sections of the fight, of this there is no doubt. He also made himself look like a clown with his theatrics in the 7th.

The thought of Kermit Cintron getting another title shot sickens me. I'm taking Berto, but I can see him getting rocked a few times.

Berto - simply because i don't understands how you can argue with the ref about a headbutt and get up at 91/2. What was Cintron thinking?
