Nice to hear both sides of the story.

Well, the deal is not signed because there are absurd demands from both parts and not so much good will to compromise.

IMO this negotiation has been going on for too long already, either sign it in the next week or make a deal with Arreola for May and leave Haye for later.

If Haye is as easy for the Klitschkos as they say he is then this is a massive gain for very little risk for Wlad, why make so much fuss? They surely realise this fight provides massive exposure into the lucrative British and US markets and should be grateful of the hype (whether justified or not) Haye is making for this fight. Do the Klitschkos want to keep on plodding throught all the other boring mandatories until their careers are over or do they want to take their part in rejuvenating the Heavyweight division?
I understand the Klitschko brothers have been fighting and staying at the top of the didvision for a while now and deserve respect, but WHERE has the division gone in that time? It's still a boring mess. David Haye might be the next big thing or he might fail spectacularly, but his self-promotion, wide appeal and proven fanbase surely provide a great opportunity for Wlad (or Vitali) to reach out to new fans and bring much-needed publicity to the division; and if Haye is as overrated as they say then nothing will be lost, it will be an easy fight for a big reward.

First of all, the loud-mouthed little bisexual illegal immigrant to the UK doesn't even deserve a heavyweight championship fight. He's never fought, let alone beaten, one single ranked heavyweight. Why is he getting jumped ahead of the line? Does being an obnoxious ****** give you special privileges in the wonderful world of don king's "sports entertainment" boxing?

          You are right.

          Wlad should fight Arreola.

with the economy bein' so ****ed up, its a shame two millionaires are complainin' about the money to make the most ATTRACTIVE fight the HW division has seen since Vitali and Lennox went toe to toe..........

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or sincere, but I edited my little opus a bit since you quoted it. Us artistes are sensitive about such things you know.

By the sounds of it the fight will probably take place in Germany now, just relax I am sure the fight will happen there is no point in saying who's fault it is as none off us were at the table when they were negotiating. Any one who blames Haye or Wlad for negotiations taking a long time have little evidence and should just wait.

I've been hoping the fight will be in Germany if it happens. The champion should choose the location, not a VOLUNTARY challenger!

Wlad would be smart to NOT fight Haye in a hostile environment with his home referees - if Wlad were to slip and fall, Haye would win by TKO.

Haye should realize he's lucky to be getting this fight, without needing to fight a top ten heavyweight (as determined by The Ring or by the Boxrec or IBO's computers), as he promised he would.
