    IBF Lightweight title fight suggestion...

    Ali Funeka vs. Tony DeMarco.

Funeka of course coming off a great performance against Nate, and DeMarco coming off a nice KO of Kid Diamond. Both guys are with Shaw, so its an easy fight to make, Showtime would probably do it, and most of the rest of the guys in the IBF rankings are "unavailable" because of the "tournament" thing anyways.

The more I think about it, the more I really like this fight.
(Funeka by late stoppage or decision would be my pick. I havent seen enough of DeMarco to know whether or not he could stand and swat with Ali)

That is a very good fight, I don't think DeMarco is ranked by the IBF though.

He is currently #12 in the IBF, but that was before the Kid Diamond KO. He should definitely move up after that fight.

Didn't know that, he isn't listed on the IBF website.

        1 Ali Funeka South Africa
        2 NOT RATED
        3 Juan Diaz United States
        4 Fernando Angulo Venezuela
        5 Julio Diaz United States
        6 Anthony Peterson United States
        7 Zahir Raheem United States
        8 Yuri Romanov Belarus
        9 Yodsanan Nanthachai Thailand
        10 Michael Katsidis Australia
        11 Bredis Prescott Colombia
        12 Saddam Kietyongyuth Thailand
        13 Amir Khan United Kingdom
        14 Tyrone Harris United States
        15 Ranee Ganoy Australia

He should definitely break the top 10 if he was actually ranked 12 though. I'm not sure if Gary Shaw would be willing to match them up with each other, good fight if it happens, I'd take Funeka to win, not sure how because I'm not sure how DeMarco would react to getting tagged by a Funeka right hand.
