be rooting for my boy Byrd. I truly hope that he KOs Ruiz and takes him out of the HW title picture. I really don't like Ruiz, I've tried, lord knows I have, but the man is horrible for boxing and any sane fan should root for Golota to destroy Ruiz. Golota is way more talented and he deserves a title for his effort against Byrd. This man could and will be a champion.

I think you know that Ruiz would beat Byrd. Golota beat Byrd 115-113 on my card. Oquendo beat Byrd 117-111 on my card and Ruiz KO'd Fres the next fight. That logic doesn't work when picking a winner, but it's food for thought.

Golota deserves a title for his effort against Byrd - the IBF title, that he should have won that night in April.
