When boxers are finally alone...

what are their thoughts? I mean like Cintron seeing a replay of the str8 left instead of a headbutt or Roy Jones watching his last fight and seeing the ass whipping Calzaghe delivered.

Or can't they think straight anymore, too many punches to the brain? Some of their comments are amazing...

when im watching my old fights it really stirs my stomach if I havent seen the bout in a while. You remember what you were feeling, the thoughts that ran through your head about the opponent. And when you see on the tape where he landed a heavy shot you remember. You remember the the way the blow went from your head, to laying heavily in your stomach and finally leaving your toes tingling. You remember how the shot not only left you stunned but how it drained and sent the contents of your nasal passage into your stomach.

When Im alone i think about boxing from time to time, the fights that I threw in. I see things that could have gone different and see the things that went seemingly perfect.

Immediately after the fights I would choose to be alone. Time to myself not only to rest but to take inventory of the damage handed out and the damage taken. Add up the good and the bad and then head back to the gym after a few days rest........Rockin'
