Not necessarily. Rivera was moving up in weight so crashing to fit into a division wasn't an issue.

Mayorga would have ate Angulo up and spit him out last night if he didn't pull out.

4 days to prepare for a fight, he also fights at 147 fighting a guy who's been in training for at least 2 months. Rivera probably did not train at all, he was tired and out of shape. just think about the circumstance and then write till then stop writing idiotic nonsense.

and that was in no way the same cosme rivera that fought berto. rivera actually had time to prepare for that fight, not just 4 damn days. also, he fought berto at his natural weight of 147, of course he'd get steamrolled by a big 154lber like that.

i'm not saying that rivera would've beat angulo by any means, but this whole "this is the same rivera that did this or that to that guy" is bull.
yeah and keep in mind angulo also spent months training for mayorga not rivera.

ok well then explain kilstcho vs lewis. I'll be waiting to hear your logic, because your logic is foolish. When you prepare for one guy then have to fight someone you know nothing about it's very dangerous! and rivera is a solid opponent. I'll be waiting for your explanation on klistcho vs lewis cause it was the same circumstances.

Angulo is a solid fighter. Needs to NEVER fight Martinez and he'll do well at 154. He's a good body-puncher and a strong developer. He's coming along nicely for less than 20 fights. Can't ask for much more.
